In 2020, they ranked 12th in the list of most valuable sports clubs in the world.
The 49ers have been the big favorite in the NFC, the National Football Conference, all year round. With the exception of a small dip due to injuries, they played well all year and reached 1st place. They also kept winning in the play-offs, but often did not make too much of an impression. In some matches their success was due to luck rather than good play.
Brock Purdy is the quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers. He has only been the quarterback for the Niners for a while, and was therefore not lined up in the previous Super Bowl final.
