However, Union’s loss to Genk means that the upcoming match will decide whether Anderlecht takes the lead or remains tied. Anderlecht will be up against Club Brugge, who drew in their last game against Cercle Brugge in a local derby. Club Brugge will face a tough challenge if they fail to secure a win. Sitting in 4th place with 27 points, they are currently 8 points behind Anderlecht.
