Football Leaderboard
From now on, you’ll also compete against other Magic Betting users when participating in the Magic6 competition. Once you submit your predictions, you’re automatically qualified for our Football Leaderboard. Here’s how points are scored: if you correctly predict the exact score for both teams in one match, you earn 3 points; if you correctly predict the score for only one team, you earn 1 point. There are two types of rankings:
- Weekly: Every two weeks, €50 is awarded to the user with the most correct scores. Users ranked 2nd to 5th share another €100.
- Seasonal: At the end of the season, the user with the most correct scores wins €1,000. Users in 2nd to 5th place share another €500.

Antwerp – Union
On Friday, July 25th, Royal Antwerp FC and Union Saint-Gilloise will kick off the new Jupiler Pro League season. As reigning champions, Union are the favorites, but early in the season it’s always uncertain how prepared each team is. Hopefully, it will be an exciting season opener.

Dender – Cercle Brugge
A day later, Dender will host Cercle Brugge. Denderleeuw’s team returned to the First Division for the first time since 2009 and finished a respectable 4th in the Conference League Playoffs, ahead of Standard and OHL. Cercle fought to avoid relegation but has learned from a disappointing season.

La Louvière – Standard de Liège

On Sunday, it’s Anderlecht versus Westerlo. The Mauves were in the title race last season but fell short, finishing 4th. Westerlo had a strong run in the Conference League but didn’t go all the way. Their last encounter ended in a 2-0 win for Westerlo.
Magic6 Expert Sarah: RSC Anderlecht vs. KVC Westerlo is traditionally full of goals and excitement, and this season will be no different: 3-1.
Club Brugge – KRC Genk
Club Brugge and Genk faced off in several high-stakes games last season, including a key title match at the Jan Breydel Stadium and a Belgian Cup semi-final, where Club knocked Genk out. Genk will be motivated to make this clash a thrilling one.
Magic6 Expert Simon: The biggest match of Matchday 1 is undoubtedly Club Brugge vs. Genk. I expect last season’s runner-up to narrowly win: 2-1.
STVV – KAA Gent
The final match of this round is between STVV and KAA Gent. Sint-Truiden narrowly avoided relegation last season but want to perform better this year. Whether they can do that against Gent remains to be seen—while the Buffalos missed out on a European ticket, they did reach the Round of 16 in the Conference League.
